1. Who we are and what this notice covers

Dwellviro is an online store at dwellviro.com operated by Shaanxi Diyashi Information Technology Co., Ltd. (the “Company,” “Dwellviro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Company is responsible for the personal information described in this notice in connection with operating the store and selling products through it. “Dwellviro” is our store brand, and the Company is responsible for sales and customer-related transactions through the Site.

This notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit the store, make a purchase, contact us, or otherwise interact with us. It also explains the choices and rights that may be available to you. Shopify hosts our store and may process information as a service provider to us and, for some features, in its own capacity under its published privacy information.

2. Information we collect

The information we process depends on how you interact with Dwellviro. It may include:

•             Contact and account information: name, email address, telephone number, account credentials if you create an account, and preferences you provide.

•             Order and delivery information: items ordered, order history, billing and shipping addresses, delivery instructions, transaction status, refund and return details, and communications about an order. If you provide another person's delivery details, please ensure you are authorized to do so.

•             Payment information: payment providers collect and process the payment details needed to complete a transaction. We receive information such as payment status, method, and limited transaction identifiers; we do not need your complete card number to manage an order.

•             Customer service and voluntary content: messages, photos, reviews, survey responses, and other information you choose to send us.

•             Device and usage information: IP address, device and browser information, approximate location inferred from IP address, pages viewed, referral information, interactions with the store, and cookie or similar technology identifiers. The exact information collected by optional analytics or advertising tools depends on which tools are active and your applicable privacy choices.

We collect information directly from you; automatically through the Site and its service providers; and, where relevant, from payment providers, delivery partners, fraud prevention services, or other services you use to interact with us. We do not ask you to submit sensitive personal information through ordinary customer service messages.

3. Why we use information

We use personal information to:

•             provide the store, process payments and orders, deliver products, provide tracking, and handle returns, refunds, and customer support;

•             communicate about your order, account, service request, or changes that affect your purchase;

•             maintain the Site, remember necessary settings, diagnose errors, and improve its performance and usability;

•             detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents;

•             comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations and respond to lawful requests;

•             send promotional emails or other marketing messages when permitted by applicable law and your choices; and

•             measure advertising or provide personalized advertising only where the relevant tools are used and any required notice, consent, or opt-out choice has been provided.

Where UK or European data protection law applies, our legal bases are, as relevant, performance of a contract for purchases and customer support; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interests in securing and improving the store and preventing fraud, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and your consent where required, such as for certain marketing or non-essential tracking. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for functions such as keeping the cart working, maintaining sessions, security, and remembering choices. If enabled, analytics and advertising technologies may measure store use and campaigns or help show relevant advertisements on other services. These technologies can collect device identifiers and information about your interactions with the Site.

You can manage available choices through the cookie banner or privacy controls presented on the Site, where offered, and through your browser settings. In locations where consent is required for non-essential cookies or pixels, those technologies should operate according to the choice you make. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent checkout or other essential functions from working. Browser settings alone may not control every third-party advertising technology.

Shopify's customer privacy settings may govern Shopify cookies and Shopify Pixels. Separately installed apps, custom pixels, and other third-party tools must also be configured to respect applicable choices. We review the tools used on the store and update this notice when they change.

5. Marketing choices

We send order and service messages when needed to complete a transaction or respond to a request. These are different from promotional messages. If you receive a promotional email from us, you can unsubscribe using the link in that email or contact service@dwellviro.com. If we offer promotional text messages, we will obtain any consent required by law and provide an appropriate way to stop them. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary order or service communications.

6. When we disclose information

We disclose only information reasonably needed for the purposes described above to categories of recipients such as:

•             Commerce and technical providers, including Shopify, hosting, store apps, security, and support providers;

•             Payment providers and fraud prevention services, to process transactions and protect against unauthorized activity;

•             Fulfillment and delivery providers, to prepare, ship, track, and resolve issues with orders;

•             Communications, analytics, and advertising providers, where their tools are in use and subject to applicable privacy choices;

•             Professional advisers and authorities, when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, claims, or the protection of rights and safety; and

•             A successor business, if a genuine merger, sale, or reorganization takes place, subject to applicable legal requirements.

We do not disclose your information to unrelated companies simply because we believe they may have offers of interest to you. We do not describe all data as “anonymous”: device identifiers and online activity can be personal information under applicable law. If our use of advertising tools constitutes a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under an applicable privacy law, the rights and controls described below apply.

7. International processing

Because the Company, Shopify, and other service providers may operate in different countries, personal information may be processed outside the country where you live. The countries and transfer arrangements depend on the services actually used. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an appropriate lawful mechanism or other permitted protection. A transfer does not remove the privacy rights available to you under applicable law.

8. How long we keep information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. For example, order and payment-related records may be kept to complete the transaction, meet tax and accounting obligations, handle returns and disputes, and prevent fraud. Customer service records are kept while needed to resolve the issue and document its outcome. Marketing subscription information is retained until you opt out or it is no longer needed, subject to records needed to honor your choice. Technical information may be retained for shorter periods according to operational and security needs.

We consider the nature of the information, the reason it was collected, legal retention requirements, and potential claims when setting retention periods. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it where reasonably possible, unless retention is required or permitted by law.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you; correction of inaccurate information; deletion; a copy of certain information; restriction of or objection to certain processing; or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision about a privacy request where applicable law provides that right. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To make a request, email service@dwellviro.com with the subject line Privacy Request and describe what you would like us to do. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your account, but we will not require you to create an account solely to exercise a right where the law prohibits that requirement. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain if an exception applies.

Where the Site offers a Your Privacy Choices or equivalent control, you may also use it for available cookie and data-sharing choices. If you use a recognized browser-based opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will process it as required by applicable law. You can contact us if you believe a choice was not honored.

If UK or European data protection law applies, you may also complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority. We welcome the opportunity to address your concern first at service@dwellviro.com.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

11. Children

The Site is intended for adults shopping for products and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact service@dwellviro.com so we can review and take appropriate action.

12. External sites and changes to this notice

Links from our Site may take you to services operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We may update this notice as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised notice with an updated “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. Changes to this notice do not retroactively turn an earlier use of information into a lawful one.
